Where is AMACHAH Hardware located?
We're located at Kumasi Road, Barkat Biashara Mall, Nairobi CBD, Kenya. The map at the bottom of every page on amachah.com shows the exact location, or open Google Maps and search 'Amachah interiors and hardware'.
What are your business hours?
We're open Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We're closed on Sundays and public holidays. Call or WhatsApp +254 717 764 661 if you need to confirm hours during a holiday.
How do I place an order on AMACHAH?
Three options: (1) Browse amachah.com, add products to your cart, and submit an Order Request — our team will contact you within hours to confirm stock and arrange payment. (2) WhatsApp +254 717 764 661 or +254 114 718 432 with photos / product names. (3) Walk into the shop at Kumasi Road, Barkat Biashara Mall.
What payment methods does AMACHAH accept?
We accept M-Pesa (Send Money + Paybill/Till — details shared on order confirmation), Bank Transfer (KCB, Equity, NCBA, Co-op Bank), and Cash on Pickup at our Nairobi shop. M-Pesa is the fastest — most online orders are paid this way.
Can I pay using M-Pesa Paybill or Till Number?
Yes. After you submit an order request, we send you our M-Pesa Paybill / Till Number and order reference. Most orders are paid via M-Pesa within minutes of confirmation. No surcharges for M-Pesa.
Can I order via WhatsApp?
Yes — that's how most of our customers place orders. WhatsApp +254 717 764 661 or +254 114 718 432 with a photo of the product you want, or just the product name. We'll quote, confirm stock, and send you payment + delivery details on the chat.
How long does delivery take in Kenya?
Nairobi metro: same-day or next-day for in-stock items (delivery via boda boda / courier; small surcharge based on location). Other counties (Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, etc.): 2-5 business days via G4S, Wells Fargo, or Easy Coach Parcels. Heavy items (welders, shower mixer sets) ship via dedicated courier — we'll quote on confirmation.
Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
Yes, we deliver countrywide across Kenya. Cost varies by destination and item weight — we'll calculate after you place the order. Typical Nairobi → Mombasa parcel is KES 400-1,200 depending on size.
Can I pick up my order at the shop instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Select 'Pickup at store' when ordering, or just walk in. Pickup is free and your order is usually ready within an hour if all items are in stock. We're at Kumasi Road, Barkat Biashara Mall, Nairobi CBD.
Do AMACHAH products come with a warranty?
Yes — all products carry the original manufacturer's warranty (typically 1-2 years for power tools and welding machines, 6-12 months for plumbing fittings and locks). Keep your receipt or the WhatsApp/order confirmation as proof of purchase. We help process warranty claims with the brand on your behalf.
Are your products genuine and original-brand?
Yes. We source directly from authorised distributors of Royce, Kzubr, Edon (welding machines), Makita, DCA (power tools), KAC, Genesis Bond, Soyifa (locks), LIRLEE, BRIMIX, MAAT, Aquaflex (plumbing & bathroom), Pattex, Knicker, Araldite (adhesives). No counterfeit stock. Box, serial, and warranty card included on every product where applicable.
Do you offer discounts on bulk or wholesale orders?
Yes. For contractors, fundis, retailers, or large project orders (typically KES 50,000+), call or WhatsApp the shop directly and request a wholesale quote. We offer tiered pricing depending on volume and frequency.
